I’m a YHWH-loving woman and each day is met with newfound excitement that I get another day to experience the untapped adventures that the Most High has written into my story. Life’s a thrill - not always easy - but definitely a thrill, and my Father never disappoints.
I’m a creative junkie/genius with an insatiable need to connect and create. I enjoy photography, journal making, and going hard for this precious family of mine. I’m a gifted writer, teacher, and speaker with a passion for women’s ministry. Friendship is my superpower.

I’m a Mississippi native who calls Birmingham, AL home. Back in 2001, on the beautiful campus of Mississippi State, I met a guy Larry K. Three years later he asked me to marry him. I agreed. A year later, we both said “I do” to a lot of stuff that we’ve done our best to honor for the past 19 years.
In 2007, we also said “I do” to a sweet six year old nephew of mine, then welcomed three baby girls over the next few years. In 2014 were blessed with a spirited little man-boy. And 2023, as our good, good Father would have it, we were graced with another cuddly baby boy.
Our great God is still writing this story. Amidst all the sharp turns and plot twists, His promise to never leave or forsake me is still holding strong. His fingerprints have been on every detail of my life.
Every trial, every triumph.
Every failure and every achievement.
Every bout of confusion, every burst of clarity.
Every sin, every snare, every escape.
Our precious and eternal Yahweh, has not only witnessed it all, He has worked it out for my good, and ultimately for His glory. And even in the moments when I can’t quite trace Him, I’ll still trust Him.
